Homer The Happy Ghost

In the 50s, Atlas Comics were already dominating the teen comics market with Patsy, Hedy, and Cindy, so it was logical that they'd try to muscle in on the childrens comic sales. At the time, the only major player to contend with was DELL with all of their licensed characters. They must have figured that they didn't have a chance against ol' Uncle Scrooge and the rest of the Disney gang, instead they set out to cash in on Alfred Harvey's smaller share of the market.Homer Ghost was their version of Casper, written by Stan The Man himself. 'Nuff Said!
