DARA OF THE VIKINGS

Here's the origin of an extremely obscure character from Avon Comics from 1951. This episode is meant to be the beginning of an ongoing series, but it didn't really catch on as well as they planned.
Just my opinion here, but maybe if they focused more on Dara herself instead of the two losers who got shipwrecked on her island, more interest might've been generated.

At some point, AC Comics toyed with the idea of reviving Dara of the Vikings with their "FemForce" line. They got as far as mangling her origin story by reducing the page count from eight to a more slender six pages (???).
Thankfully, they didn't do anything drastic like giving her an even skimpier costume than the one she already wore, or having her 'catfight' it out with Phantom Lady or anything.
