COMICS BY REQUEST

I got a request for some stories featuring Magik and her brother Colossus that followed up the MAGIK limited series from 1983. Well, Colossus doesn't feature too prominently in this issue, this story takes place immediately after Illyana returns from limbo, and sets up all of her angsty brooding for many issues that follow.

Somebody had to break up the pity-party. And what better way to do it than with a real party? So it's off to the mall they all go. Because everybody knows the mall has it all. Also it's here at the mall that we find out another bit of trivia....



Meanwhile, back at the ranch.....



When the gang return from shopping, Illyana is chosen to scout ahead and clear the way for the surprise party......





While S'ym is preoccupied with fighting off the rest of the kids, Stevie runs off with Illyana in her arms. Sadly, a recent leg injury causes her to stumble.







So the story wraps up on a mostly happy note. At least for this issue.
As is typical of everything relating to Marvel's mutants, the sub-plots go on for quite a long time.
